Ah, ignore how un-photogenic I am *blush* and pay attention to the awesome wig! *glomps dad* Dad you're an absolute legend it's sooo cool!!! Waii!! So yes, my very first cosplay ever! Character is Haruno Sakura from Naruto. Check out my non-existant sewing skills, I was quite proud of that actually because the only thing I'd ever sewn before in my life was a pillow!!! Lol! I did have help from a very kind next-door-neighbour who helped me put the dress pattern together and taught me lots of nifty tricks on the sewing machine!
This is me halfway through my skit! Lol, I'm think I'm saying, "Sasuke-kuuuunnn!" XD (They're weren't any Sasuke's at the con though, so no oppertunity to use the excuse that because I was Sakura I was allowed to glomp them! : D
So, left to right, me, my bestest friend Miranda (otherwise known as M) as Rosette Christopher from Chrono Crusade, and another of my bestest friends, Gemma (otherwise known as Jim). She dressed as Kagura Sohma from Fruits Basket and her Kyo bag was soooooooooo adorable!!! Kya! *glomps Kyo bag*
Sexy M-chan! She's very genki so Rosette was a great character to go as!
My last bestest friend, Jess-chan!! Waiii, she's sooooo cute as Momiji from Fruits Basket! She was runner up in the audience favourite section of the cosplay competition, she should've won! I just want to cuddle her to death! ^___^
These are the winners!!! The girl in the middle spent 10 months on her costume, 1O MONTHS!!! *is in awe*
This is me (on day 2 of the con) as Misa Amane from Death Note, but it was my last minute cosplay and I didn't have a blonde wig so my own hair had to do! XD
The bag looks so good here!! *giggle* It's not really a bag, just a folder that I added bits to, like I said, last minute rush! *sheepish grin* I found it a little disturbing that I could throw this cosplay together from my own wardrobe! I had everything except thigh-high fishnet stockings which I had to go buy! ^__^
M-chan on the second day in her semi-harajuku get up!! Nice legs M!!
This is the picture I drew for the art competion. We had a theme of "anime island" so I had her writing "my island home" on a scroll of sorts and I gave her a palm tree tattoo! AND I WON BEST OVERALL USE OF THE THEME!!! 'Twas very exciting. ^_^ I won copic markers, they're sooo cool!! I've been meaning to getting around and scanning the picture but it's rather large and I don't have an opperating scanner :(
So there we go, ten photos from the con! It was the best fun I've had for a long time, can't wait for the next one!!
