그대 (You), i / Jinki-Taemin / wc~215 / overly mushy
When Jinki met Taemin for the first time, he fell in love. He didn’t know what it was at the time, only that his heart started beating double time the minute Taemin walked into the room, nearly stopping when Taemin looked up at him through long eyelashes and murmured a soft hello.
Jinki felt his cheeks tinge pink. “Hello,” he mumbled back, unable to look the other boy in the eye.
“My name is Taemin,” the boy said, giving Jinki a gentle smile. “I’m new here. What’s your name?”
Jinki stared at the scuffs on his tennis shoes for a few more seconds before he realized the softly spoken words that came out of that angelic mouth were actually a question, directed at him. “I-um. Hi, T-Taemin. Right? Uh, hello. My name is J-Jinki. Lee Jinki.” He gave the boy a smile he hoped was welcoming, but he was sure it looked more pained than anything.
“Jinki-hyung,” Taemin said it like he was testing it out. “It‘s nice to meet you.” Taemin gave him another smile, and this was a smile that went wide enough to turn the boy’s eyes to crescents, lighting up not only his face, but the whole room.
Jinki, stunned into silence, merely nodded, hoping Taemin received it as “you too.”
