Hello, LJ.
I'm Keithan, and I'm a nomad in cyberspace, having no real home. I squat only in FF.n, and share some space in:
The first two being archives for some of my Gundam Wing fics, while the last two are for some of my Lord of the Rings fics. I'm pretty sure some of my LotR fics are archived somewhere else (in its original English or its translated version), but since it's been so long ago, I'm not really sure anymore where. My FF.n profile has everything, though. I'm mainly a GW author now, but I started with LotR and I plan to go back to it again, one of these days. These two fandoms, however, will always be the ones closest to me (no matter how much I read from whatever fandom I fancy and how much Geass and VK amuses me at the moment).
Some time ago, I figured I might as well get one of these if I plan on continuing in the fanfiction world. I can't rely forever on FF.n, where I mainly post my work, especially when they constantly change their rules and formatting over time. And for someone like me, who can be idle (read: unproductive) for months, I can't regularly check if they suddenly mess up my work or delete any of it (I've read enough horror stories regarding the site).
I know LJ is mainly a community, but I've always been more of a lone wanderer (shy much? actually, yes), so don't be surprised if I don't plunge in head on in all that's happening in the LJ world. Of course, one of the reasons is I don't know how it works around here (read: LJ illiterate). But if somebody is kind enough to show me the ropes, then why not? I don't bite. I'm more likely to glomp you and hug you. I'm friendly, that way. :P
As it is, I'm planning to use this mainly as a fic journal, an archive of some sort and updates posting. I think posting is easy enough to learn, haha. This just gives me another reason to go back to some old fics and probably go through them again before posting them here. Another pass through the editing pen can never hurt.
So with that said, I'm welcoming myself here in LJ.
