Quick hello from under my rock
Well, yes, because I've been living under one for quite some time now (two? three weeks? or have I been going into four now? I've honestly lost count). 28 days to make a habit and just a day to break it and all that, or however that saying goes. So still in exile for quite sometime yet.
First things first, just a quick shout out. Happy belated birthday lil_1337! Hope you had a great day and sorry for the late greeting. *hugs*
And an advanced one to bryonylj! *hugs you too* Happy birthday, dear. Hope you'll enjoy yours, and thank you for the link to the new GW novel translation. Will be reading it after I crawl out from my hiding place in a handful of months.
I have nothing to say about the monotony of my days except that pressure and worry (and pretty soon, stress) are their steady companions. I'm surprised at the discipline I didn't know I have, and sure there are little slips, but I don't think I've ever exhibited such rigid discipline in my life.
Anyway, things that surely made me smile when I logged again after days and days of rock living: Comic Con - Colin Morgan, the blooper reel (gawd, the blooper reel), and the s3 trailer, will have me giddy for a long time, and all the rainbow colors because of prop 8 made me smile too. It actually reminded me of this - such a great scene in the QaF series (and I truly loved that pride flag waving there). Well there'd be more, but I try to shut down my laptop every time I feel like I'm going to spend more than a few minutes of email checking.
Oh, also watching Inception made me smile for days - brilliantly and insanely awesome that movie.
A few things I look forward to after I come back to the world of the normal and living in December/January: finish watching FMA Brotherhood (I've put it on hold since the beginning of the year), MERLIN S3, of course, and HP Deathly Hallows I, and also, I'm ready to fall in love all over again with Temeraire in the new book Tongues of Serpent, so I'm excited about getting to read that too.
But I have to run now, and dig a hole or whatever. Just needed a quick rant/ramble. Will catch up with things when I get back. :)
