I have been wanting to make this picspam for a long time and finally get in the right "mood". I'm an addicted to tv shows and in almost ten years I've watched tons of them but never found a lovestory so dysfunctional and yet so beautiful. Dawson and Joey are and will always be my first pure and magical love, Matt and Harriet are the embodiment of a "religious conflict" and have some of the best dialogues in the history of television, I adore Ted and Robin and worship Buffy and Angel's forbidden love, I love the sweetness of Matt and Julie, the way Jack and Kate's lives are entwined and how much Hank and Karen can be real.. but Lee and Kara are something else. They are the most intense, damaged, destructive, tear-to-pieces story ever told. Friends, mates, "family", lovers with a bad timing. They're everything. They're Lee and Kara. And often there's no need for words, a glance is enough.. and hurts. It hurts to see how much they love each other and can't fake it.

This picspam is a sort of tribute to some of my favourite moments (20 + a bonus). Hope you'll enjoy it!
I apologize for the crappy quality of some screencaps (esp. Unfinished Business :( )

Apollo: Helmet.
Starbuck: You are so unprepared.
Apollo: Shut up.
Starbuck: You are the worst CAG in the history of C.A.G.S, actually!

Apollo: I tell you what: it's has got to be her. This thing is flying with some serious attitude!

Apollo: So, um, that bum knee of yours is looking pretty good. And the other one's not too bad either.
Starbuck: Lee, if you wanna ask me to dance, just ask.
Apollo: You wanna dance?
Starbuck: Me in a dress is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Apollo: Might work. Might get you killed.
Starbuck: Would you miss me, sir?
Apollo: I need every pilot I have. Even the screw-ups.
Starbuck: Captain.. I'm really sorry.

Starbuck: Good to see you too, Captain.
Apollo: Remind me to send you to the brig later.

Apollo: I just want you to know, Kara, that I'm your friend. I love you.
If there's anything you wanna talk about, anything you wanna get off your chest, then I'm here for you.
Anyway... whenever you wanna talk, just let me know.
Starbuck: What was that middle part again?
Apollo: Hmm? What do you mean?
Starbuck: Did you say you love me?
Apollo: Well, um--
Starbuck: Lee Adama loves me.
Apollo: No, all I meant was--
Starbuck: No, seriously, very sweet. You love me.
No, you love me! You can't take it back. There's no take-backs.
Apollo: You're dreaming it, Kara.
Starbuck: You love me.
Apollo: You're dreaming it.
Starbuck: You love me.
Apollo: Dreamer.

Apollo: Bright, shiny futures are overrated anyway.
Starbuck: That is why we gotta get what we can. Right now.
(...)
Apollo: Hey, what about us?
Starbuck: There is no us, all right? I just wanted a good lay.
There is nothing here. Do you get that? Nothing.
Apollo: Sure.
Starbuck: My gods.
Apollo: Hey. Well, that's just great. Frakk or fight, huh?
Okay, maybe I am just a quick lay but, Kara, I'm also your friend.

Starbuck: You should hear the way my brain works sometimes. Are we okay?
Apollo: You have a brain?

Starbuck: What are we gonna do?
Apollo: What are we gonna do? We accept it. Tomorrow, I tell Dualla, you tell Sam.
Starbuck: Just like that?
Apollo: Just like that.

Starbuck: So I won't divorce, and you won't cheat. So where does that leave us?
Apollo: Trapped.

Starbuck: It's funny though, after all we've been through, we are right back where we started.
You're a C.A.G, and I am your hotshot problem pilot. I guess that's all we'll ever be now, huh?

Apollo: ..Besides, I never really could say no to anything.
Starbuck: Except me.
Apollo: Especially you (...) I believe you.

Apollo: I don't care. We've all been through some crazy, crazy stuff. I don't care what you think you saw.
I watched your viper explode. Don't care. I'm here. You're here. This is all that matters.
Okay, I'll see you around. Kara Thrace

Apollo: So what does scare you?
Starbuck: ..being forgotten.

+ bonus

I kind of felt that Kara and Lee had never really left a moment in time on the table.
They were kind of trapped in that moment perpetually of wanting, longing, feeling
but never being able to fully enjoy it or fully embrace it.
They just really never left that place as characters.
