Another Week Upon Us
Did massive amounts of laundry last night and finished Death Note with my bf. He was displeased with the ending. He says he thought they "took the easy way out." I couldn't disagree more! I thought that any other ending would have come across as an easy out. I really enjoyed how it threw you in its simplicity. But I won't get into it more deeply for fear of spoiling it for others who have yet to watch/read.
I picked up the first 3 volumes of the manga and as soon as semester ends I'm going to start reading. We also have the live action movies to watch, too. It's really nice to have a series that captivates me again. I used to feel that way about Bleach until it got... weird... and bad. *sigh*
I'm hoping to write a lot today once I finish my classes and the little bit of homework I have left for today. Nano ends in a day and a half and I'm going to trytrytry until the last minute to get to 50,000. I think I'm 18,000 words away.... D: But hey, my very first Camui Lucy fic was over 25,000 words and I wrote it in about a week, so maybe somehow I can draw up that same kind of writing flow again.
Only 2 more weeks left to the semester... how time does fly when your head's under water!
