How many nights I've laid in bed excited over you...
Normally, I would've been up at 5am today and on a bus by 6am so I could arrive at my clinical placement by 10:30 and work an 8 hour day. 0.o
Well, today being a holiday means that program is closed. SO, I'm sitting in my favorite coffee shop with a pumpkin spice latte enjoying myself and taking it easy. In fact, I'm not doing any clinical this week!
Today's to-do list may seem totally boring to anyone else, but having the opportunity and time to do these things is really meaningful to me since school has taken over my life since August. I have to pay some bills, tidy up the apartment, organize my end-of-semester assignments, add some new Jrock to my iTunes, and write my little heart out for NaNo. I'm now only 1 full day behind now which I can pretty easily make-up between now and Monday when classes start again.
Ooooh, and I have a NaNo "Write-In" for my regional group on Saturday! I'm really excited at the notion of meeting some new, interesting, and creative people in this area! Yes, it's a "college town" but the really awesome folk are few and far between and many live out in the country-ish areas.
And my 2011 GACKT calendar should be at my door any day now! So, I'll be chillin' mostly at home for the next couple of days because bf works 3-10 and I think someone needs to sign for the delivery when it's EMI... I think, but don't quote me on it. Either way, I want to be there so I can love it up when it arrives!!! XD
