Learning German through pop

I like warbling along in badly accented German to pint-sized Hamburg songstress Annett Louisan. This is my wonky translation of 'Das Spiel' (The Game).

That you're not the same as you once were
Since you took your clothes off for me,
That you'd give everything up for one night
And lose it all, wasn't part of the plan.

You want all of me and all to yourself
That's not my idea of fun.
It doesn't fulfil me because I only feel at home
When I'm sitting on the fence.

I just want to have fun,
It's no big deal to me.

That you'd leave someone for me,
That it would hurt you so much
When someone else now and then
Pops in and out of my life

That you'd fall in love just because we did it
How was I to know it would hit you so hard?
I never planned for you to feel
Like one out of many

I'm just having fun
I didn't do anything

That you can't sleep because you're so excited
When I move the way I move
That you'd almost burn under my hand
When I touch you, I never planned

Even when I'm just standing around,
Doing this or that, running a hand through my hair,
It makes you want me so bad

Better just to let it go
I don't want to hurt your feelings
I just want to have fun
I didn't mean anything.
