And there was that posh girl played by Rudi Davies, whose acting was dead weird and affected in A Sense of Guilt with Trevor Eve, and then channeled by the unbearable Rose Keegan in Hearts and Bones.

Interesting what they are all up to. I think I last watched Grange Hill in the 80's. Did they have those weird lifts while you were at UEA?

Yes they did! The ones that are moving all the time and go round in a big loop. Folk legend had it that if you went all the way over the top, you would be crushed by sinister machinery.

There is no truth in that although thinking about it there did seem to be a suspicious number of student deaths caused by sinister machinery.
