Importint Xmas news, imagine it in a scrolling Sky News-style ticker across your screen. That always makes things seem more exciting than they actually are. This is the true power of the imagination.
Hott witch
- I had a super posh dinner with pinkthing999 which was delicious turkey, vegertables, gravy, stuffing, sossidges, sprouts ekcetera, and I helped cook it! Well pinkthing999 did it mostly and I helped put things in dishes and put them in the oven. This is more difficult and valuable work than you might think, especially as it meant not getting distrackted by people in House with horrifying diseases and letting things catch fire. I did a good job of this except for some small, inconsequential fires.
- I got a lot of intresting books for Xmas which is just what I wanted! I am going to have to have a lot of baths to read all these books though. I will be Finchley's cleanest man!
- Continuing the theme of lovely women cooking me lovely dinners, Emily cooked me a lovely dinner! It was a tasty risotto of simple seasonal vegertables, and home made apple pie. I may decide to just spend my time making a royal procession around North London to friends' houses where they will cook me dinner, and I will do royal things like hunting stags, opening conference centres, and having slap and tickle with attracktive courtiers.
- pinkthing999 and I went to see The Golden Compass. It is pretty awesome! They have really done a great job of bringing the book to the screen, and the mahogany-and-brass visual design is superb. I have been listening to too much fxguide podcast as I kept thinking "Wow! Nice sub-surface scattering!" Also, hott witches! Serafina Pekkala RAWR. Even if she does sound like a brand of firelighters.
