Kitacon 2010 Report
Going to go with the increasingly popular Win/Fail format for this as I’m getting tired of writing essays after each convention. Everything is roughly in chronological order.
Driving for only the second time since passing my test and this time due to it being a van I had no rear view mirror, yet I got us to Northampton without dying - WIN
Quick and easy reg and dealer’s room set up - WIN

Getting a video we made played at the opening ceremony again - WIN
Realising that I’d got a bit too involved in the video and with hindsight it could/should have been a shorter tighter production - FAIL
Getting a proper chance to meet and talk with pinkapplejam and raggedyman - WIN
Nandos run with Zelly and company - WIN
Being unable to dance during the awesome Saturday night party because I just felt so old and tired - FAIL
Learning more about Chris Patton at his late night panel than I was ever sure I wanted to know - UNDECIDED
Late night drinking with Moley and being introduced to skittles Vodka - WIN
Hearing about Moley vomiting in the street when he finally emerged on Saturday - HILARIOUS
Seeing the Animetion crew again - WIN

Getting a chance to talk to many people who I’ve seen on the con scene for years but never had a chance to talk to before - WIN
Massive group meal at a lovely Teppanyaki restaurant that the Weeaboos had failed to discover. - WIN

Overall a most excellent and well organised convention and I look forward to attending Kitacon 3 next year. Which in case you hadn’t noticed is already open for registrations so move your lumpy asses XD
