Literature Fangirling
Persuasion is my new favorite Jane Austen novel. Pride and Prejudice will always have a special place in my heart, but I love it for being fun and witty and a bit fluffy.
Persuasion gave me butterflies and made me cry, and I read the pivotal bit about five times in the space of an hour on account of said butterflies.
And then I had to go look up the movie on account of wanting to see what they'd done with it - recognized where they'd moved everything and when they took bits from the first draft version of the ending, but it worked well.
It made me cry, too.
It's now 2 in the morning, so I'm off to bed.

I am swimming in bibliphilic glee.
