April Fools!

Apr 01, 2008 11:22

So Gilbert was a little disappointed that I didn't prepare an April Fools post as I've done in the past. This is primarily because I've been in Long Beach for the past few days visiting the gf. I am currently extremely tired from Disneyland yesterday which started and ended very well. The day before, she actually let me pick out an outfit for her, and what came out was just freaking adorable! She had on a red/pink/cream shirt saying "There's a party in my tummy" from Hot Topic, a cream cardigan sweater, jeans and a pair of brown/pink/cream DUNKS. VAL?! WEARING DUNKS?! Not just that, but the entire outfit was totally not her normal attire, but looked very good on her.

To start the day, she told me that I needed to experience the Disneyland parking lot. I didn't get it at first, I thought she was just exaggerating it, but all I can say... is WOW... I have never seen SYNCHRONIZED PARKING as organized as this... simply... AMAZING.

Disneyland itself was much more fun than I remember it to be. I remember my Senior Trip in high school, saying that Disneyland doesn't really have anything for the "older kids," but I found myself disagreeing by the end of the day, because there is SO MUCH to do now. I really can't put my finger on it, but I had a blast. I hadn't been on Space Mountain since the revamp, and I have to say, it is INCREDIBLE this time around. Feels so much more epic. Buzz Lightyear was awesome... I'll let this picture speak for itself:

The weekend started off on a real shaky note... even the hours leading up to Disneyland were a little shaky. I'll spare the details for the sake of trying to be positive, but all in all, I had a great time in Disneyland. To be honest though, I'd really like to be back in Sacramento right now. Although I had an awesome time with Val, there were a lot of times when I felt like I really wanted to be with everyone else back home. You know who you all are. All I have to say now... is I'd really like to plan a day or two for us all to go to Disneyland and just raise ruckus...

In the meantime... check out my MySpace for some awesome pictures!
