"PIII!!! I'M SORRY! I'M REALLY SORRY!" Akanishi Jin screamed over the phone.
"Jin? JIIINNN?" Yamashita Tomohisa, or better known as Pi, tried shouting over the insane voice of Jin. "JIN! WHAT'S WRONG JIN?"
Despite Pi's yelling, Akanishi pleaded forgiveness with Yamapi. "PI! I SHALL GO TO YOUR HOUSE AND BEG FORGIVENESS!"
Pi stared at his phone in disbelief. "...Jin?" He waited for a response. The phone went dead as a flying blur shot past the door and landed on Pi's chest.
"Jin... get off..." Pi mumbled. Jin just sat on his chest, panting heavily. "JIN! HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH ANYWAYS?!"
Jin moved over that that comment.
"Anyways, what's wrong?"
"I lost the envelope you gave me."
"... AKANISHI JIN!"
Now in a state of turmoil.

"Jin." Yamapi looked over the cafe's counter top and tossed Akanishi a white envelope. "Catch."
Jin, being Jin, dropped the envelope promptly and picked it off the ground again. He started to rip off the flap when Pi stopped him. "What's in here Pi?"
Yamapi sighed as he stirred his coffee with a tiny spoon. "Just don't lose it."
Jin complied with a nod. "OKAY! SERGENT JIN IS HERE!"
"Jin."
"Hai?"
"Shut up, everyone is looking at us."
"Sorry."
"Anyways... If you lose that, I'll skin you." Yamapi's tone changed into a serious voice.
"...okay."
Broken promises, renewed and fallen...

Kame sighed as he waited in the black underground room. His fellow thieves, Nakamaru Yuichi and Tegoshi Yuya, were waiting patiently on the sofa. Shige, like the computer dork he was, sat silently, eyes riveted on the screen as he watched the stocks go up and down in the national database. The boss, Ryo Nishikido, was sprawled on the sofa and studied his fingernails.
The computer chip, the one surged in his shoulder, pulsed gently as it amassed data from his surrounding.
"I'm bored." Tegoshi stated.
"Shut up." Ryo growled.
"Demo..."
"Or do you want to be thrown in the basement again?"
Tegoshi whimpered. "Okay..."
The door slammed open and the atmosphere was changed immediately. Everyone stiffened visibly as a slender figure stepped across the room.
"Ueda..." Ryo whispered. The shadow stepped delicately to the center of the room. He whispered, "Hello everyone. Is Kame here?"
"Hai, Ueda-sama." Kame walked forward tentatively. "I'm here... Ueda."
"Good. I have a job for you."
"A job?" Kame's eyes widened. Ueda only picked people he trusted to go on these "jobs", and only the tough people survived.
"It's not hard, just a small task you have to perform." Ueda stared long into Kame's eyes.
"I... I'm honored to be chosen."
"Good. Maybe the Rogue can tell you?"
Ryo smirked and stepped from the couch. "Ok... The task..."
People can sometimes be fate's pawn...

"Pi-chan?" A small, dark boy poked a taller boy. "Happy Valentine's Day!"
The first grader looked down and smiled at the older boy. "Thanks!"
The next year, Ryo gave Yamapi another card.
And the next...
Until that day...
The seventh grade Yamapi looked at the short figure offering him a valentine.
"Are you stupid, or just gay?" Yamapi demanded. He tore the card from Ryo's hand and read it out aloud.
Tomo-chan,
Happy 12th Valentine from me to you!
I hope we can be friends forever.
Violets may be blue,
And roses are red,
My love for you is true,
And will never end.
Yamapi ripped the card in pieces and threw it in the garbage.
"Let's go Jin." He hooked his arm with Jin and walked away. Ryo stood there, crushed at the violence Yamapi had.
He climbed up to the school's roof, tears streaming from his face. He jumped the fence separating the roof's edge and the roof. He prepared to free fall off the roof, praying.
Ryo jumped from the rooftop.
He felt the wind blowing in his ears...
He knew he was going to die...
A white hand snaked out a window with unnatural speed and grabbed Ryo's arm with graceful elegance. Ryo was pulled up into a classroom window.
A boy watched Ryo like a predator might watch his prey.
Ryo winced as he rubbed his arm. "Umm... Thanks?"
The boy looked away. "Why do need to thank me?"
Ryo was shocked. Wasn't the reason obvious? "You saved me from... well... dying!"
The raven haired boy shrugged. "I didn't want to see another dead body again..." He mumbled.
Ryo stood there and waited for an introduction. When he saw one wasn't forthcoming, he bowed and said, "My name Nishikido Ryo. Nice to meet you."
"My name is Ueda Tatsuya."
Ryo smiled. "Let's be friends!"
Ueda looked at Ryo. "What is a friend?"
Learning how to live...

Kame tied a length rope around his waist. Making sure the knots were firmly tied around his waist and the flagpole, he jumped off the school building. Kame wasn't really worried because he trained for ages... The rope was just a precaution that Ueda recommended. He reached out and grabbed some windowsills on his way down the tall building. His descent slowed down.
Kame started climbing up. He went up several stories when someone below gave a shout. God... Time to get out of here.
Kame rapidly climbed up the building when something HARD hit his right shoulder. Kame winced as he cut the rope and hoisted himself on the roof with another HARD thing struck his right hand as well. His grip on the roof slipped: Kame plunged to the ground. Luckily, the years of training and the installed computer chip in his body took over, and he pulled himself in a dive. When he was about twenty feet from the ground, he flipped head-over-heels and landed on his feet, his momentum taken by the flip. Kame's foot twisted painfully, however, and Kame's leg nearly collapsed under it.
They met gain in the distant future.
--*--
Jin was walking home after being murdered by Pi. He yawned as he heard the old bell tower struck twelve. The old school dome rose in his eyesight. He grinned as he walked slowly, wanting to visit the old school he went to years ago, after leaving the orphanage. The place he met Pi.
Crows cried as Jin saw a figure drop from the roof and latch itself on the windows. Who would climb a school building in the middle of the night? Unless... THIEF!
Akanishi thought as hard as he could. He found a rock on the ground and threw as hard as he could. To his surprise, the rock actually hit the person, and didn't go straight up and down on his head again. The figure scuttled up the building quickly.
Jin stared up in wonder. I wanna try! He placed a foot on the school wall and climbed about a foot up when he slipped and fell on his butt.
Akanishi tried remembering why he was on the ground again. At this time, his eyes fell on Kame again. Oh yeah...
Akanishi threw a rock at the figure, hitting him again, amazingly. Akanishi gave a high pitched scream when the figure slipped. "DON'T DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
He gasped when the figure pulled itself in a dive and flipped, and hurtled safely to the ground.
He also gasped because he saw the person's haunting face. It was the most beautiful face he ever saw, including Pi. His face was all sharp angles and honey brown eyes. And it was wayyyy younger then him, so Jin was able to cuddle him like a teddy bear... right?
The person gave Jin a stare, a gaze so intense that if looks could kill, Jin would be dead, skinned, brought back to life and stabbed ninety nine times before being killed again.
"Ano... My name is Akanishi Jin-" Jin was cut off when the person walked forward and punched him on the shoulder.
"Don't. Mess. With. Me." Kame growled. Jin could only stare dumbly at him.
"What if... What if I let you spend a night at my apartment?" Jin offered.
Kame paused. "Why?"
"Because... You might not have a home?" Kame hissed at that comment, but nodded.
"Only this time then." Jin nodded and took Kame's hand, who wrenched it away.
"I can walk by myself." Kame glared at Jin, who gave a pout.
"So... what's your name?" Jin asked. Kame was silent for a moment, and muttered,
"Kamenashi Kazuya."
The pair walked on, Jin leading Kame. When the apartment building rose in sight, Kame raised his eyebrows. The apartment I just robbed. How ironic.
Jin pouted when Kame located the bedroom, and claimed the bed.
"It's my bed." He mumbled. Kame only mumbled some words before falling asleep.
The old scars showing again...
--*--
The next morning, Kame woke suddenly. Why did I sleep in a perfect stranger's house?! He tried getting up and wasn't able to. Looking down, he blushed; Jin had wrapped an arm around Kame's waist. Kame tried moving the arm, but was held even tighter. Jin mumbled, "My blankie..." as he slept on.
Kame did the first thing he could think of.
He jabbed Jin in the collarbone.
Jin woke up and blushed, noticing he was hugging the younger man. He also reacted in another way.
"KYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY COLLARBONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
To be forgotten, nevermore.
