For those who don't know, the Tokyo Game Show is going on right now, meaning all kinds of new stuff is showing up, as well as new videos of things coming out this winter. Two news items stand out for me, though.
No More Heroes, one of the most insane games I've had the pleasure of playing, is getting a sequel: No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle. Even with the first trailer they're ripping on nerd media, with the Terminator style music at the end.
Also, the next Halo item has made it's first official appearance with a spiffy trailer and some odd info. Apparently Halo 3: Recon as it's being called is more of an expansion than a sequel, and it doesn't star the Master Chief. Also, the new book is due out next month, so yay for me.
These just add to the pile of awesome coming out soon which includes Fable 2 (with online AND offline co-op!), Gears of War 2, the new Prince of Persia (with MORE jumping now, Jen), Street Fighter IV, the new Kingdom Hearts games (for DS and PSP, the hell?), and Resident Evil 5 next year. I'm gonna be so broke. Thank god for Gamefly, at least.
Now, if they'd just get around to announcing Dead Rising 2, all would be right with the world.
