Day 4: Deathclaws and Dinobites
Today, I moseyed up to Sloan on my way to Novac. Its a quaint little mining community, or at least they had been mining, until a pack of deathclaws moved into their mine. Being the sensible sort, I high tailed it back to Goodspring and decided to take the long way to Novac.
Before this, however, I decided to do a little community service and finish what I'd started at the NCRCF prison where the Powder Gang breakout had occurred. I put on my nifty Powder Gang disguise, walked right on in, and proceeded to one shot every single one of them (ceptin for the fellers with names) with a sledgehammer sneak attack.
Needless to say, good times were had, and I resumed my journey to Novac, occasioning upon an abandoned ranch along the way, where I found a fine cleaver.
Eventually I made it to Novac, and after talking with a few of the residents, made my way to the gift shop, where they were selling plastic T-rex toys and model rockets. Unfortunately, I was drawn by a unique gun, and could no longer afford this obvious treasure. I shall return one day in the hopes that they are still in stock.
