One year anniversary
This weekend marks the one year anniversary of my spring break trip to Japan, which was the most interesting and fun week I've ever had. A lot of great memories have been flowing through me today. The sheer amount of cool things that took place that week still boggles my mind. I tried explaining the event to some co-workers today and yesterday, and I barely scratched the surface. Looking at this year's version of the tour, they made it shorter and cut out some of the exclusive events that were part of our trip (complete animation studio tour, Ghibli museum, shrine visits, etc). Even though all of the best pictures I took that describe the trip are still on Facebook and available to everyone, I guess the trip still touched me on a personal level. I absolutely want to make time to go back there. My employer has a strong presence throughout the country, so the main barrier would be to go all the way with the Japanese learning... or maybe after the CPA exams, I'll just chill out and not think too much, like most of the world. I've made a lot of my dreams a reality so far, so why not another? Or at least I'll start thinking about other people around me...
