Lisle, you'll be missed.

My two weeks in Lisle, IL, 20+ miles outside Chicago, is over. Important things learned during the trip:

- How to describe the job I signed up to do
- How to describe the job I will start on (just as interesting, if not better)
- 99% of fellow newbies are just as nice, if not nicer than me
- I have people to party with in all parts of the country (even Dallas, a big surprise to me!)
- Second City comedy shows are quite amazing
- My company audits Studio Ghibli, Miyazaki's anime company! I know which client I'll work on in five years :^)
- Do not attempt to ride a skateboard on your belly. My back still feels the effects...
- I can throw a baseball and a football with remarkable accuracy.
- Japanese beer < American beer < Sam Adams Summer Ale
- Orson Scott Card is a great writer... I'm going to read every Ender-related book now.
- 私の恋人を探してみなくちゃならないんです。(Gotta find a way to keep learning Japanese too.)
