Vienna Teng!
I saw the Vienna Teng concert tonight! It was amazing! (As expected!) She played an amazing set. I was a little dissappointed at how much there was from Warm Strangers... Well, I must admit, I just never really got into that album. After hearing "My Maedea" tonight, I realize this must be corrected. But, I still only まあまあ好き "Mt. Shasta" and I'm still not in love with "Harbor." She did some favorites of mine, though, like "Gravity," "Enough to Go By" and "Lullabye for a Stormy Night." I loved her back up singer/cellist and backup singer/violinist/violist! They did the funniest choreography for "City Hall!" She did the most amazing renditions of "I Don't Feel So Well" and "1br, 1ba." She worked in a bit of Dolly Parton's 9-5! Amazing! Of course, "Soon, Love, Soon" was a singalong as always. Nice! After the show I met her and got a photo with her. I talked to the other band after the show, too. They were amazing! Vienna seemed rather surprised/impressed/touched that I was at her very first show at this venue as well.
