Matsumoto Jun to star in “Kano-Uso” live-action movie adaptation

It was announced on the latest issue of manga magazine “Cheese!” (released on February 24th), that Aoki Kotomi’s manga “Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru” (also nicknamed as “Kano-Uso”) will get a live-action movie adaptation.

This is Aoki’s third manga to get live-action movie adaption, as her previous series “Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru” (starring Matsumoto Jun and Eikura Nana) and “Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu” (starring Inoue Mao and Okada Masaki) were also adapted into live-action movies.

“Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru” started being serialized on “Cheese!” in May 2009.  The story takes place in the music industry, and shows a love drama between a regular high school girl and a producer.  It was revealed that the cast for the heroine named “Koeda Riko” will be chosen by audition.
