What is LOVE concert?...(for me)
Let me start off with an honest feeling - I'm a little less excited to watch the concert, not because my fondness of the boys had decreased, but because I recently watch ARAFES 2013 (a few days ago) and didn't enjoy it as much as I did the previous one. Yes, this is despite Nino singing Himitsu with the four other members wearing mascot costumes and leader's "Take me Faraway". With the initial negative feeling, I hit the play button, and was blown away - from start to the end. Here is why...(in random)
- The song choice was perfect with the theme - Like Jun had mentioned, there were certain songs of Arashi that fits perfectly for the theme concert. Songs that speak of love in different forms as shown from the opening video (introduction of members); whether filial, platonic, romantic type of love - love is universal.
- Ai wo Utaou as first and last song of the concert proper create the very atmosphere of the whole concert - "let's sing out love".
- All solo performances were equally special and so as the video skit before each performance were lovely. Of course Jun's, was the most intriguing - like watching a preview of a thriller movie. Oh, let me shout out my love to Aiba's solo performance - I'm loving the song more and more.
- I like the choreography for most of the dance, especially their dance performance before PARADOX.
- The short animation; script written by Nino, produced by Jun, was really cute, especially the part of leader towards the end - really funny.
- Nino, my ichiban, moments were precious as always. Even during concert, his good acting ability was put into use. Just look at that face.
- Here's another one, during the MC/choreography of FUNKY, I can't help being caught as Nino gleefully smile and capture the precious moment. For some reason while Jun was giving instructions to the audience, Nino gleefully smiling
or maybe I missed it because the camera was focused at him and not what was happening around him.
- The matsumiya fan in me - overwhelmed during encore. They were playing all throughout encore, and what makes it lovelier is that Jun was the one who always made the encouraging gestures. These were taken while they're singing MY Girl
, the randomness of their actions were entertaining in a whole lot different manner.
- Lots of member ai (love), but I'll let you find out more of that on your own. I don't want to spoil too much by posting screencaps of them, though I was tempted to capture the whole concert but of course there's no point in doing so.
Well, there you go fellow fans, those were the bits and pieces of the concert that vividly had an impact to me that made watching the concert worth it. I'm sure opinions may differ for each one of us, tell me about yours, and "lets sing out love".
