things have been a roller coaster ride recently, but finally, it's beginning to stablize and life will be back to normal, hopefully. our house still doesn't have a router, and i know i've been saying that i'll go get one, but as usual prokristenation kicks in and nothing gets done. dammit. but on the other hand: there is no AIM to distract me, no checking facebook everyday, no wasting time playing online games. but the things that make me sad are: no AIM to distract me, no yahoo music videos, and no convenience of internet when i really do need it for academic purposes. =( can someone please fix our internet?!?! or buy a good router that's guranteed to work? oh, and while you're at it, can you buy us a new fridge? yes, our fridge is broken, and i called our landlord on FRIDAY and he has yet to call me back. aiy.... our whole houes is breaking down! the ghost really doesn't want us to live there. bOOOOO. (sorry, i know my entries probably don't make sense to a lot of you cuz i don't update enough FOR it to make sense, but i guess you'll just have to take what you can get.)
so let's see, what's going on with me... well, if i haven't already written so, i am again working two jobs: being the front desk girl at the econ dept oncampus and Express at nights. this time i'm smarter because: i'm getting paid more for the clerical job oncampus and i'm not closing the store anymore. i seem to be on quite a roll at Express too because i've been meeting the credit card goals for myself so far, AND i'm slowing learning how to work the wrap desk. and when i mean slowly, i mean SLOWLY. so far i just know how to do transactions and i did one return/exchange, house payment, and opening a credit card. YAY! as for the econ department, it's nice to be able to interact with people who come in and personally help them. i like it better than sitting behing a computer all day long. kinda changes up the routine a little bit, and i like that.
as for the social life, i've been going out a lot, mostly with my hawaiian superman *wink* and his friends. they're fun people, even if there's nothing to do. it's nice cuz it gets me out of the house, even though it's not to awesome for my gas card. yikes... but hey, that's why i have a car, right? plus i'm beginning to learn my way around san diego a little better. slowly, yet surely i will soon be able to tell you where the hot spots are. =) i've also had a few dates with mary. for example, we had dinner and a movie one nite. we watched "something new" which was something new. hehe. and yesterday we wandered up and down garnet in pb. oh, and i got my ears pierced. YAY! so now i feel a lot more balanced. however, i haven't told the parentals yet. then again, i'm going home at the end of the month, so they'll just see it then. oh wow, this trip home is definitely gonna be full of surprises!
