I just received a call from the housing office (yes, the cheerful voice has called me once again!)
Call: Um, I think we had a bit of confusion...did we tell you you were going to have a furnished or unfurnished room? :/
Me: Furnished :)
Call: Would you be okay with a fur..nished room? :x
Me: OH YES
Call: Greaaaaaaaaaaaat :D
She probably sounded a bit isshy because furnished room will be $100/month more than unfurnished; however, my mother and I are now free of worrying about furniture. I don't have to worry about bringing in things and people bringing in things then having to adjust to A LOT of things (since I still don't know who I will be rooming with).
My welcome packet is to come later on this week.
