You never know what's going to happen!
About an hour ago, I received a call from the UCI housing office. A really enthusiastic lady called asking if I was still interested in a dorm...yes, after two days I called my friend's sister-in-law, telling her that I will be moving into their place next month. Is that a perfect timing? Or is it more of a bad timing? I am not sure which, but, honestly, I was extremely excited about the whole offer :x
The dorm will be shared with four people. I don't know who I will be rooming with yet, because the lady is calling people from the waiting list one by one. She told me I was the third person who was willing to take the room. I wonder when I will meet the others. Hope they're good dudets; I mean, decent. Yes, decent--humanwise.
The room is not furnished, so I will have to bring in my own stuff. $380/mo..good deal, I guess. The thing I am REALLY glad about is I CAN WALK TO SCHOOL! I DON'T HAVE TO STRESS OUT EVERY MORNING FOR A PARKING SPOT!! I WILL BE REALLY CLOSE FROM THE SCHOOL GYM!!! Ah, the bliss. I know I will be complaining about other stuff (first, along the lines of "can't sing in the room whenever I would like to; second, let's see how the showers work; etc..) BUT for the most part, I have a place to live. I have a dorm which I thought I will NEVER get. This will help my parents out a lot, I hope :D
So yes. I am here, thinking about what I need to do. And that I will be having a fun day tomorrow because I am going to go up to UCB with Michelle and her parents to go see our sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet friends :3
Signing contract in the morning around 8AM--leaving the house for UCB around 2-3PM <333
