FANIME 2010 AND STUFF
This entry has taken me a lot longer to get up than intended, since the day I had hoped to post it my computer was stricken with a godawful virus (but I kicked its ass because I am fucking awesome) and I've been stretched so thin with work that by the time I get home I'm too pooped to do anything requiring brain function. Sorry I've been so scarce.
BUT ENOUGH EXCUSES, FANIME 2010 IN WHOLE.

Wednesday and Thursday:
So I flew out Wednesday morning. I decided to go out to San Jose this far ahead of time because my pal Aubrey lives locally and was willing to house me, and because the con takes place over a holiday weekend it was considerably cheaper to fly out before the weekend prices.
These two days prior were spent:
- bro-ing it up with auditoree like YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. Much Project Diva and BrazBroo involved
- looking at Aubrey's MOUNTAIN OF GERMANCEST DOUJINSHIS, YES
- trying to find a tiny hat for Fagnet Kaito
- assisting in cosplay tasks such as making Rachel's "ears" erect
- sleeping forever because I knew I wouldn't be seeing much of that during the weekend and for some reason I was super pooped all the time
- being really stressed out because my boots for 18th century Prussia didn't get to me in Colorado in time
- Go to get badge. Wait in line forever, see a sunflowmon for the first time! ♥
- find out I never bought a badge, oops
FRIDAY
- wake up, finally discover I missed a message on ebay about my boots being damaged and not shipped. Woes
- GET TO CON AHH
- an avatarkayla finally retrieved. Ahhhhh ♥♥♥ //////
- buy badge and immediately regret doing so
- wear some female Germany because fuck cosplay I'm lazy
- Get into Sakutaro and URYUUU with Gamies, and mymerrilymemory's big Seacats group
- YAY balni and Tyler YAAYYY
- THE LAMEST KAITO and the gang go to eat at Johnny Rockets
- snog Kayla a lot
- sleep
SATURDAY:
- up and at em, time to wear Izaya, oh wait I need to borrow a wig from a friend
- oh hmm I'm too picky, time to go buy a nice wig
- this wig is pretty long oh well chopchopchopchop still not short enough but oh well
- realize I lost badge in dealer's hall, way to go Moogie
- find pkgaming as Shizuo, TROLL EVERYTHING.
- don the blue nailpolish for BROCALOIDS aka FAGNETS with Gakupos aka Balni
- Was miserably hot I hate sunlight are we done eating in this shithole yet
- stress and anxiousness, feel bad for being snippy to random Hetalia fangirls
- followed by the fabulous nightlife, spent with my Kayla
- help her run a yaoi panel errrrrhhhh
- I think I slept at this point I can't recall
SUNDAY:
- PRUSSIA ALL DAY EVERY DAY
- RUN RUN RUN FILM FILM FILM HUFF HUFF HUFF arigatou, soshite, sayonara
- hnngh the best Fritz I love my life right now
- walk around being fabulous and doing fabulous things
- go to the ball to show off fabulousness
- lots of giggly tipsy people in my hotel room teehee
- sleep
MONDAY:
- I miss Gamie already
- NO EVERYONE DON'T LEAVE ME
- FFFFFFFFUUUU, run really fast for photos of CD covers with antieden's group
- oh my god everyone get the fuck out of this hotelroom and to the airport
- take Tyler's badge because obviously I look like a Tyler Johnson
- get the most adorable Purikuras with the girlfriendo
- one last adventure to the dealer's hall
- and then laze around feeling depressed about saying goodbye
- say goodbye and cry like huge loser
- go back to Aubrey's with a huge gang of friends, immediately crash and wake up at 4:30am, whoopsie
TUESDAY:
- after 4:30am, fall back asleep, wake up again at like 8am or something
- yum breakfast followed by German birthday cake to celebrate my own and Aubrey's belated birthday (happy bday, West ♥)
- be the last one to leave for the airport
- home

So following this con I have so many memories, miss too many people to list in one entry, have only a few disappointments/regrets, and am WORKING FOREVER. There's an assload of updates over at my ACParadise, too!
can't wait for people to come visit me at the end of the month ♥ until then, back to realworld stresses again.
