So lots of neat things going down in Moogie-land.
for one, MY TWO IDKBFFS, livingdeadjules and zeein are FUCKING ENGAAAAGED!!! They're like the parents/older siblings I didn't need but don't mind having, I'm so damn thrilled for them. So as far as social life goes, I spent a chilly weekend up in the mountains with them and friends. I also spent Saturday evening wishing veronicesque a safe and amazing year in Korea. My pals, they's all over the place! 8'3 ♥
as for me, I keep chuggin'. Discovered out of necessity the cheapest yummy food items I can find at a grocery store since the realization that one's got $35 to last you until your next paycheck is a frightening thing. Luckily I cashed my piggybank and stuff for a little extra dough so I'm fine on gas and such until payday at least. Asked for money for my 21st birthday. All I want is a haircut, new sneakers, and Fanime. Buy me booze and I'll punch you in the goddamn crotch.
Work is ... work. Good news is promotion is on the way, it's a little more complicated than that but once my butt becomes an Asst. Manager my money woes will be much fewer, so I'm grateful for it whenever it comes.
And then there was Fanime. Too many cosplays potentially coming to this con but only one of them is new, and that's my 18th century/War of Austrian Succession/Seven Years War Prussia. Coat's done, medals obtained, waistcoat is a work in progress, and the other parts are.... ugh. Let's not talk about those. fuck you hat why are you so expensive I can't buy you

due to time constraints I decided to get help from a local seamstress friend of my family's, who's always willing to assist me in getting certain costume pieces done. So while I'm chugging away on everything else she cranked out most of this baby. The medal I scoured the internet for and it's my favorite piece of this costume thus far so I had to throw it on for the pictures 8'D
now for the dreaded PrussiaCOSPLAY LIST as of right now for my own reference.
