Well, this isn't going to be much, because like usual, I don't want to get bogged down in details. Instead, I'm just going to write up a brief summary on my impressions and experiences
I'd have to say this was probably my favorite Anthrocon yet. Despite missing a few people (like I always do), I did get to spend some real, quality time with some of my old friends, not to mention meeting one or two others. Also as per usual, Eddie and I didn't have the kind of money it'd be nice to have at an event like that, but what can you do. There were all sorts of gorgeous pieces of art in the art show, several I definitely would have bid on -- and I can't say that often. I generally don't buy art unless it's something I'd really want to hang up on my wall.
Though I enjoyed the days of the con, I actually came to a realization afterwards. I've had the good fortune to be taken in by a group of incredibly talented and driven friends. People who have discovered what they wanted, and worked and worked until they were able to achieve it. I believe most of you know who you are, and I sincerely thank you for the inspiration you've given me. I feel much more dedicated to my school work than I did before, and I know now that I will become a respected and talented worker in my field in the same way that you all have, or will, in yours.
Thanks again, guys.
