I hear ya. This is the year I need money above everything and there's a ton of things I've asked for. It doesn't feel good at all. My list looks like this:

2-disc Labyrinth
2-disc Dark Crystal (asked for both a long time ago so i might as well keep that on here)
DS Lite
Sansa Media Player
$500 (to finish paying off credit card)

As for the someone to hold at night, you might want to be more specific. I had someone to hold last night. Someone I wanted to hold last night. The problem is they didn't hold me back. ;_; It's the worst feeling in the world being told that your feelings for someone is mutual and then sitting back and watching as they push you away. It's like...you feel you have a right to hope, that they give you that right, and then they take it from you and smash it to shards while fucking laughing at you.
