Graduation Year wheeeee.

Umm. I really didn't want to go to Prom, because
A.) Prom is lame.
B.) Annual Board doesn't ever know the first thing about fund raising and
C.) I went last year and it sucked.

Plus most of my real friends have graduated already. Alls I have is my BFF Janice and a bunch of school friends*.

Anyways, we were thinking about ways to increase our fun at prom, while maintaining our roles as dorks. First we were like:
"DUDE PROM ZOMBIES."
And that was cool for a quick while, but if we got turned down at the gate (after paying for the $25+ ticket) we would have to roll up our cuffs and kick some glittery poofter ass.
So I started thinking about other ways to look completely out of place amoungst the faux-debutantes and then it came to me:

"WE SHOULD GO AS EMILIE AUTUMN."

Mostly because I was checking to see if she made any new music...then I got side tracked on how cool she looks and my big girlcrush on her. So I translated a bit of her style into our gowns and BOOM:

Two Crazies showing up at Prom looking like a deathtrap and raggedy Ann. lol
The left is me, strapless cool grey satiny dress with black tulle pouf. I have that corset, it is from Timeless Trends. Pearls ontop of the pouf. Barbed wire as the straps.

On righty over there, we have a LBD with a peasant style top, lacey about the arms. Dress is drawn it with a fancy string. And finally, inspired by Victor and Rolf's tulle line, a suspended tulle skirt that attachs around her waist. Red buttons on the dress, and one will be "sewn" into her neck. Mix matched socks and stockings.

And we would be wearing opposite colored shoes. Preferably low heeled, pointy toed ones with no back. And I'd make them all Victorian-y with lace cravats and rhinestones.

*A school friend is a person you get along with at school/work/whatever but never see outside that place. Not that you would ever want to.
