Personal History:
Keiichi hails from an ordinary - ordinary save for the fact that he is, after all, magical - muggle family, with a businessman father, a homemaker mother and two younger siblings. Both his parents, Takumi and Fumiko, were born and raised in Osaka, Japan, where they met, got married and moved to England against their parents' wishes. They wanted a new life and to be able to experience something different from what both their families have been so used to. Initially, the trip was only intended to be an extended vacation, but that soon became something more as Takumi found work at a shipping company, where being Japanese work to his advantage and soon, he became one of their most valuable employees. Fumiko soon became pregnant with Keiichi, and with an expanding family and growing career, they decided to make England their permanent home.
As a boy, Keiichi, which means one or first joy in Japanese, was very hyperactive, albeit not the bravest soul on the the block. He was the one who was always eager to try everything in the playground, though not before someone else had done it first.
When he was six, his mother became pregnant again with another boy. Kiyoshi was born into the family, but unlike Keiichi, is extremely quite and private, and would constantly remain in his older brother's shadows. One could say that the younger Saitou is the total opposite of his older brother, but Keiichi is very protective of him, always feeling the need to take care of Kiyoshi.
Keiichi went to a Muggle primary school like any other normal kids his age, but has always suspected that he is different. The occasional flicking of lights at home when he got extremely excited was one very obvious sign, but though it surprised his parents initially, the mediums they consulted were of no help. That is, until his letter from Hogwarts came and all their questions were answered. Seeing that his older different was so special and different from all of them probably caused Kiyoshi to slip deeper into his shell, making him believe that he was hopeless, boring and NORMAL. Very much unlike his very unique elder brother.
In his second year at Hogwarts, Fumiko became pregnant again, this time with a girl and like Keiichi, Aiko is a bundle of energy, always eager to learn. She seems normal so far, showing no signs of magic, and as much as Keiichi would love to share the magical world with her, he couldn't help but be relieved, that at least now, Kiyoshi wouldn't feel so inferior anymore.
Personality:
Chatty and extremely friendly are how most people would describe Keiichi. He has a generally good first impression of people and wouldn't judge them unless they did something terrible to him first. Otherwise, he would assume everybody's inherent nature to be good.
He is caring, having grown-up in a tight-knit family with two younger siblings, whom he adores. So naturally, given his good bedside manners and love for potions (even if not for Snape), he chose to go into healer training right after Hogwarts.
When the time came for him to do his practical training, he was assigned to help at the Hospital Wing at Hogwarts, something that he was very pleased with, because even though it had only been a year, he found that he missed the school very much, and would love to come back to make sure that everyone is okay, especially with all the happenings around the wizarding world.
Physical Description:
Keiichi has long-ish hair, about shoulder length, and keeps it dyed a brown colour most of the time. His eyes are dark brown, and generally, his features are those of the typical Asian, small eyes, fair skin and relatively thin. His eyes and high cheek bones make him look rather fierce at times, but this is a façade that quickly fades away when one gets to know him.
He is about 5’8” and has a rather skinny built, which works well with his interest in Quidditch, as he has the agility and reflexes necessary to make a good seeker. Quidditch is another aspect which helped shape his physique, because though thin, he is fit and quick, not sickly like some skinny kids.

Hobbies and talents: Quidditch (played Seeker while at school), caring to those who know him, very hardworking.
Weaknesses: Too chatty for his own good, becomes obsessed with things very easily, easily influenced by others, trusts others too easily, a bit of a push-over, especially when it comes to girls, tends to be forgetful.
