Okay I have something I want to say before this year is really officially over.
Times have been hard and I have tried to do I all I can to pull through. Many things have been going on and life doesn't just stop so we can recover.
I have made a few decisions about my life and I need to put them out there to know I have them in black and white. This is bigger than a New Years resolution, this is change a long time coming.
I talked to my new boss today about becoming a shift manager. She is willing to work with me and I am seriously going to working on stepping up in the Company and making more money. I like Jamba Juice and I like working at this new store.
After the Holidays I am getting my College transcripts from Virginia and finalizing my Financial Aid. I am going to take classes at Miramar College.
Come spring, I am looking for a room to rent here in Mira Mesa and making this area my home for awhile. I have a good solid job, that gives me hours and values me as an employee and I don't want to give it up.
I am going to take better care of myself. As soon as I get insurance through work I will. In the meantime I will watch my calorie intake, walk more and avoid smoking as much as I can.
Gaming won't be cut out of my life, but it needs to be prioritized. I know I said I was going to run an Exalted game on Mondays but honestly I do not have the energy. I am going to run my Thursday Night Exalted Game with the players I have now and run my monthly LARP. My LARP will be undergoing a reset. I have an all new cast of characters anyway, the name will be changed, themes changed, and I will be planning more efficiently ahead of time for event games like Beltane and Yule. This will be all the gaming I will be running for awhile. I will continue to play in Grimm Truth. If anyone runs a tabletop game, especially Exalted, I will strongly consider joining. But Work, School, and Anime Conji come first.
I'm buckling down and focusing on getting Anime Conji off the ground and ready for Anime Conji 1 this April. Same with World Fantasy and Conjecture.
Oh yeah I'm going out to some club night, once a month. I need to network and cut loose on the dance floor again.
It all starting now. Wish me luck, there is No Day but Today.
