I can't say it isn't nice to be back in Japan for once. I've been everywhere and anywhere, seems like all of the time, and I don't remember what it's like to not feel jet-lagged.
I recently took some forced time off and went to visit my daughter Toshiko. I'm never too keen about getting too far off the trail. I can't let it go cold. Of course, it ( Read more... )

I always hate it when they point out my accent.

That woman you were talking to with the pink hair? Complete degenerate psychopath. But she's right about the milk. At least you could get some of that coating medicine that tastes a little bit like chalk.

I get that sometimes, too. But mostly people say I sound too much like I'm barking at them.

What, Miss Haruko? Really? Ugh. It...wouldn't surprise me. I seem to attract those types like Lupin to money.
You look kind of familiar. Maybe. But I like your style.

That's okay. These Tums have made it taste like I just ate a whole bucket of chalk as it is. Now I have heartburn and I'm nauseous.

Yeah. They're friendly enough at first, until they're pulling the rug out from under you.

Really? Thanks. You seem like a pretty alright guy yourself. It can be tough being dedicated to your work and still not having who you're after take you seriously.

Well at that point, I'd just give up and go with the vodka.

Gotta pick up on those things quickly. Guess I'm going to have to read these things better, being over the internet and all.

Tell me about it! Thankfully my men still respect me, otherwise I might really believe I've gone crazy.
The name is Koichi Zenigata. It's nice to meet someone on the same wavelength.

....yeah....I just might. But no way am I admitting that bonehead was right. Because he isn't. I just have no other choice.

Well you've got to have respect from your subordinates. Even if Kitsurubami won't go out with me, she always respects the work that I do. She's never questioned one of my orders and takes me seriously.

Feeling better?

It does my heart good to see a team that will set aside it's differences to work together to achieve a common goal!

And yes, thank you, I actually am.

Well, I'm in Mabase. If you're not busy, maybe we could hang out at some point.

That doesn't sound so bad. Yeah, I'd like to talk with someone not currently on the express to Crazy Town. It seems I have a little down time anyway, seeing as Lupin is currently-I mean, since I'm doing background study for a current case.
So, Commander Amarao, what is it you're in charge of? They don't exactly hand out the "Commander" rank very lightly.

I'm with Interstellar Security. We hunt intergalactic criminals and monitor alien activity on Earth.

Oooh yeah. I think I remember when that division was added to Interpol. I never really read much into it because it seemed like a lot of smoke and mirrors to me.
Now it doesn't, with the stuff I've seen, but I just figured I'd let you guys do you job as long as you let me do mine.

....so...that stuff....it really exists, huh?

...hmph, wonder if Lupin is an alien with all that unnatural luck he has.

Well when Interstellar Immigration started up we had to worry about whole star systems being stolen. I need to get more people in these eyebrows, then we'll all be at less risk.

Yes, it exists, and in the worst forms.

That wouldn't surprise me, from what I've read, though I was in something of an information hole and barely knew who he was.

You run over people with your scooter.

You hit them in the face with your guitar.

You destroy small towns.

You never really feel guilty for any of it.

I think that qualifies you as a psychopath.

Yeah, point of views are relative. Some people consider that normal behavior. It happens in America all the time.
