Subbing movie ...
Hello everyone, these days, I've been French subbing Yamada Ryosuke's movie "Miracles of the Namiya General Stare" (or Namiya Zakkaten no Kiseki in Japanese) Yamada plays the lead role in it.

The story is an adaptation of a novel written by Keigo Higashino.
The movie deals with Atsuya (Yamada Ryosuke) and his friends receiving letters from the past while hiding in an old general store's letter box, the Namiya General Store was in fact known for responding to people's problems with anymous advice in letters.
Click to viewThe movie is hard to understand at the begining, and at some points, you don't really know if the scenes take place in the present or in the past, but it gets clearer as the story goes on.

Some parts are really touching, I cried like 3 times ... but the action is also slow sometimes. The movie is quite long (more than 2hours long) but is worth watching it. The advice given by the old shop owner are funny but also very touching.
Yamada's character is strong but also trully human, a young man who needs help to go on with his life
The movie is quite dark, but it only emphases the troubles faced by the different characters throughout the story.
Plus, you don't need to be a Yamafan to watch it ;)
