Dream High 2: Ep 4
Very spoiler-y thoughts, so please really don't venture any further if you like being surprised.
Ok, I am officially in love with the leads.
Kang Sora, Jinwoon, Jiyeon, JB, Jr., Hyorin,
The teachers JYP and Kahi, the principal and the president...
They're all making me happy.
Not too sure about the second leads, but I'll give them time to get into it.
But seriously the main 6... They're great.
Its not that theyre perfect, and some get annoying at times, but still for the most part I support them.
Tonight's ep showed a lot of Rian (Jiyeon) as a person.
I like her character because she's evil good.
Even though I don't like how she treats Haesung (Sora) and the fact that she seems to be heading towards a loveline with JB...
I still like her.
Speaking of that love line...
So it, turns out that the two were actually quite close at one time, probably in their pre-debut days.
They're now in this weird stage where they're over it, but still rely on each other and keep falling back into memories.
I think they both still care for each other... And I saw my dreams of even a little HS/JB crumbling away.
They more that the show pushes HS/Yoojin (Jinwoon) and JB/Rian... The more I want to rebel and ship JB/HS.
Btw, HS and YJ seem to be getting along quite nicely.
They have a similar relationship to the other two, but without the history.
Speaking of history.
The rubik's cube scene made me cry.
JB's cry acting was quite weak, but Sora is so powerful... It made me think "aaah, she's good"
Still, it was good to see them have history.
A sense or dread washed over me though, because I know he'll hurt her in the end if he even gets close to her.
Which is inevitable, but I really can't see the two of them ending anywhere but in tears.
Highlight: no matter how many times I watch it, it makes me just giddy and happy-- JB and HS dancing to Taeyang's I Need a Girl.
Waaaah so cute, so cute, so cute.
Also on a side note, teacher Kahi is soooo pretty. Reminds me of the lady teacher in the first one (who I now can only thing of as Kangin's wife).
Back to the story....
It will be interesting to see just who of each couple will pass and fail.
Especially between the idols/normal kid couples... Surely there will be some surprises.
Either HS or YJ will pass though, and their separation will remind me of Suzy and Taec's in the first one.
The other thing is Hyorin.
She doesn't get much air time but she really is like a ray of light.
Her character is good and pure-- she doesn't judge geeky guy, she takes care of stubborn Jiyeon and she visits Si Wol he's a jerk and a playboy who doesn't deserve her worries.
Still there is a bit of chemistry there, I must admit.
It will end up in heartache for the geeky guy unless he can somehow win her over.
Why do the nicest girls always go for the jerkiest guys??
Anyway, can't wait for the next one.
For now I'll just keep re-watching the JB/HS clip.
