Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Is a Thai movie that stars Mario Maurer and Fern.
I only stumbled upon it coz one of my FB friend's status was that she was watching it.
I'm glad I found this movie.
It truly is great.
It appeals to the romantic in me.
It's about year 7 Nam-- a dark, scrawny, geeky kid-- and her crush on year 10 heartthrob Shone (Chon?).
She, supported by her close group of friends, do everything under the sun to get him to notice her.
I swear-- I could relate to about 90% of the antics she gets up to.
The guy-- Phwoar-- you cannot not fall for this dude.
He's cute yes, but even his personality is irresistible (which is just the way we should want it).
And the girl-- well she does transform, but by then you're well and truly on her side.
She doesn't do stupid things that heroines do-- no moping, no deceit-- she's sincere and brave.
There's lots of humour, a heartbreak that you can really feel deeply and a feel good feeling about the whole thing.
For the first Thai movie I've ever seen, I'm very very happy it's this one.
