Reita went to Kanagawa in three or four days. What would Aoi do if in those days something happened between him and Tora? To whom Aoi could seek for shelter?
“So, why were you suddenly looking for Reita?” Uruha asked.
“Hng? Oh, that’s… mm…” Aoi opened his sling bag and took the book that he borrowed from Sumire. “Can you do me a favor? Please, return this to Reita for me…” Aoi said when he put the book on the table.
“A book? Why don’t you return it by yourself?”
“I can’t… I… I have appointment with Tora today…” Aoi said slowly.
“Oh…” Uruha then took the book and read the cover. He chuckled. “You borrowed this book from Reita? I didn’t expect that Reita had this kind of book…”
“It’s not Reita’s book... I borrowed it from his work place…”
“Sumire?” Uruha asked in disbelief. “You COULD go that place?”
“Eh?” Aoi didn’t understand with the meaning of Uruha’s question.
“Your boyfriend didn’t get mad at you?”
Aoi was shocked with the question. “H-how did you know that?”
“In this campus, there is no one who didn’t know about that, Aoi…” Uruha’s statement shocked Aoi even more. It means, his effort to hide the disrepute in his relation with Tora from everyone, all of this time, was in vain?
“H-how come?” Aoi still didn’t believe it.
Uruha sighed a long breathe. “Do I really have to explain it all to you?” Uruha asked. “You’d better end your relationship with Tora, Aoi-”
“What do you mean!?” Aoi didn’t like Uruha’s suggestion.
“Did you see that one coming? You didn’t even know what people said about you and your PROUD lover,” Uruha said with a mocking tone. “You spent too much time with Tora, Aoi. You should find more time to associate with more people.”
“I… I just want to be loyal to Tora..!” Aoi tried to defend himself.
“That’s what Tora said to you?” Uruha asked. “Geez, Aoi…” Uruha said with a chuckled. “I can’t believe it. We barely know each other. Let alone talk like this. But when I had the time to talk to you, I didn’t expect that I had to talk about this; the thing that actually none of my business.” Uruha looked at Aoi intently. “Did you have any idea about what people said about you and Tora?”
“I... don’t... know...” Aoi was suddenly felt suspicious.
“You have a sick relationship.” Uruha answered. Again, Aoi was shock for it. “Your relationship was that bad that made a lot of people think that was too bad for you to withstand your relationship with Tora.”
“Who said it? They don’t know anything about Tora..!”
“Were they the one who didn’t know anything about Tora, or were it you the one who didn’t understand about your true condition, Aoi?” Uruha asked. “From your words, looks like you’re really already living away from the civilization,” Uruha said with a mocking tone.
“What do you mean!?”
“I know why you said it. Tora was never let you to blend with your friends, right? He was scared to see you being too close with other people. That’s why he forbade you to make contact to anyone else, right?” Uruha asked. “That’s why, too, Tora was always take you and pick you up as much as possible, to make sure, that you only spent your time with him. Am I right, or am I right?”
Aoi was stunned for Uruha’s words. He didn’t know what to say to defend Tora - his lover - from those disreputable assumptions. Aoi couldn’t do anything for every single word that drops out from Uruha’s mouth was… felt so true…
Tora really did that.
“You still want to deny it, Aoi? Lots of people already knew about it and there’s nothing you can do to defend your beloved lover because there ARE no use in doing it.”
“Tora still has a good side…” Aoi said in a low voice as he bowed his head. He looked up at Uruha again when he heard Uruha snorted and chuckled.
“So this was why Reita hates you.”
Aoi was shocked with the words. Reita hated him? “What… did… Reita tell you?” Aoi asked in panic.
“There’s no use in saving you, Aoi. You yourself don’t want to be helped.”
“Saving me from what? You’re talking as if Tora was-”
“You wanted to deny it again?” Uruha said with his mocking smile. “Good then… just perfect… I’m getting more and more annoyed looking at your face.”
“W-what..? But w-why? Why are you mad at me?”
“Well, thanks to you, I feel like I don’t know Reita anymore.”
“W-what do you mean?”
“Since Reita get close to you, too close, I rarely saw Reita smile. In his head, there’s only you, your business with your lover, and what your lover did to you. What I heard from Reita were always the words “there’s something wrong here”. Those were always the words I heard almost every day,” Uruha explained. “He always thinks about you. More or less, I’ve had it all enough, Aoi. There’s no other thing he would discuss with me except about you. Do you ever think that I’m fed up hearing Reita keep talking about you?”
Aoi looked at Uruha disbelievingly. What did Reita do all of this time that Aoi didn’t know? Did Aoi already waste a lot of Reita’s time?
“I… I… I’m sorry… I-”
“Right, Aoi. You HAVE to feel sorry. This won’t be problem if everything about you won’t become burden for Reita.”
“That’s-”
“I’m not done yet!” Uruha yelled. Aoi was shocked when he heard Uruha’s voice. Uruha realized about his own voice and he regretted it in a sudden. But he shook his head and continued his words. “I’m sorry, Aoi. I know I can’t treat you as nice as Reita did to you. I don’t know your problem like Reita know you at your very details. But this thing is already made me feel so distance from Reita, Aoi. I don’t like seeing him that way,” Uruha explained. “To tell you the truth, I felt so relieved when I know that he went back home to Kanagawa. At least, Reita could rest his brain a little after thinking about you all the time.”
Aoi waited for few moments to make sure that Uruha was already done with his words. After few seconds Uruha felt silent, Aoi started to talk.
“I… I really didn’t expect Reita to be like that…”
“What the heck are you thinking, Aoi? How did you see Reita all of this time? Your savior? When you couldn’t be with your lover, you used Reita as your escape? Were you happy because Reita could accompany you when your lover went with somebody else?”
It was another shock for Aoi. “What do you mean!? I didn’t-”
“Then stop acting like this! You’re just a burden to Reita. Reita was already did too much things for you but those were all in vain. You keep turning back to you freaking lover. You don’t have to depend on Reita ever again. I’ll tell Reita that he doesn’t have to help you anymore. Well, you won’t need it anyway, right?” Uruha took the book. “I’ll return this to Sumire. You can spend your time with your beloved lover as much as you want…” Uruha put the book inside his bag.
“Where’re you going?”
“Go. Away. Anywhere as long as I don’t have to see your face,” Uruha answered as he stood from his chair.
Aoi tried to explain himself. “I..! I didn’t-” But it seemed like Uruha won’t listen. The blonde was just walked away from Aoi. “Uruha!” Aoi called him and stood to ran after Uruha. But Aoi forgot about the pain in his body; because of his sudden movement, Aoi fell accidentally to the floor for the pain was stopping Aoi from all of his movement.
Uruha was surprised. He turned his head to look at Aoi that was lying on the floor with face downward. Several people inside the cafeteria saw it too. Uruha fell silent. He didn’t have the heart to see Aoi like that. But his annoyance toward Aoi’s stupidity was already dominating Uruha’s heart. In the end, Uruha still walked away and leaving Aoi there.
“Great…” Uruha whispered to himself. “If Tora finds out about this, tomorrow won’t be a peaceful day for me…”
Aoi tried to stand. He used both of his hands to help him to get up. Slowly, Aoi walked to the entrance of the cafeteria. He looked to his surroundings. No one wanted to help him; not even stood from their chairs.
Was it true? Was what Uruha said to him before was true? Because Aoi spent too much time with Tora, he forgot about his other friends in his own campus? Was now his image had become that bad after everyone know about his relationship with Tora?
Aoi felt a tear started to fill his eyes. He hurriedly wiped his tears. He couldn’t cry. No one would care enough to see him cry at that moment.
That time, Aoi realized about one thing: everything was become so hard when Reita was not there beside him. Then again, Aoi realized that he was already become a burden for Reita. But even if Reita was there when Aoi fell down like that, Aoi just couldn’t rely on Reita anymore. He just didn’t want to become a burden to Reita.

That time, Kai was buying a pack of cigarette in a 24-hour store. After he paid for the cigarette, Kai exited the store without expecting that something would happen to him. He was shocked when suddenly there’s a person who pulled him into a small alley beside the store. Roughly, that person pushed Kai until Kai’s back hit the wall behind him.
“Good afternoon, Kai-san,” the person greeted Kai.
Kai tried to focusing his sight to discover who the person was. Kai was a little surprised after he found out the culprit. But after that, Kai chuckled. “Hey, you’re Reita, right? What’s this? Why suddenly-”
“It’s revenge.”
Kai laughed. “What for? I didn’t remember I ever did something to you.”
Reita put his side of his lower arm to Kai’s neck and pressed it, and made Kai choked. “Not to me, but to someone we both know.”
“R-really?” Kai asked as he tried to free himself from Reita’s arm. “Who is the lucky person?”
Reita let Kai go just to cast his fist onto Kai’s face. Kai fell as he didn’t expect it that Reita would do it to him. He looked at Reita in shock.
“W-what are you doing!?”
“That’s for at the restaurant.”
“W-what..!?” Kai still couldn’t understand with what he was dealing with when Reita pulled Kai’s collar and make Kai stood again. Kai didn’t get the chance to say anything when Reita suddenly hit him again; this time, to Kai’s stomach.
“That’s for at the movie theater.”
“Ahk! I… I don’t know what you are talking about, Reita..!” Kai was holding his stomach.
“You don’t understand?” Reita asked when he stroked his palm. “If so then, maybe this could make you understand!” Reita said as he punched Kai’s face again, making Kai fell again. “That is for at the shop where I bought the necklace for Aoi!”
Kai shocked when he heard the name. Kai looked at Reita. “Y-you..!?” Kai then saw Reita kneeled in front of him. Reita was suddenly patted the side of Kai’s pants; at the pockets. “Wh-what are you looking for..!?” Kai was panic.
Reita didn’t answer the question. He just stopped patting when he felt something inside Kai’s right pocket. Reita then tucked in his hand into Kai’s pocket and took the thing he found inside the pocket.
“No! Don’t! Hey!?” Kai getting more panic as he tried to grab the thing back from Reita.
Reita stood and make distance from Kai’s reach. Reita looked at the thing in his hand: it was Kai’s cellphone. Reita started to open the photo folder inside Kai’s cellphone. Reita fell silent for a moment then he chuckled when he found something inside the folder. Reita kneeled back in front of Kai and showed the cellphone’s screen to its owner. Kai looked at the pictures on the screen. It was all the pictures Kai took when Aoi went with Reita last Sunday.
“So it was true that you’re following us back then, right?” Reita asked as he looked right through Kai’s eyes.
“N-no… it was just-”
“You know what, Kai? Because of these-” Reita showed the cellphone’s screen again. “-you did a great job at making Aoi got a lot of wounds on his body.” Reita then just dropped the cellphone on the ground.
“It was your entire fault, Reita. You knew that Aoi belongs to Tora. But you still got the guts to take him away…”
“I was NEVER took Aoi away! Not from anyone!” Reita yelled. “And Aoi NOT belongs to Tora. He will never belong to evil guy like Tora.” Again, Reita pulled Kai’s collar. “Tell me, Kai. Tell me, what did you say to Tora about those pictures?”
“I didn’t say anything,” Kai answered. “I just showed all of the pictures and Tora was the one who concluded everything about the pictures…”
“You never tried to lessen your cousin’s anger..!?” Reita just didn’t believe with Kai’s habit.
“What for? Tora had the right to be mad when he saw his lover went with some other guy…”
“We didn’t do anything, Kai!” Reita yelled. “And I was pretty sure that you know that Aoi was not the type of person who can betray Tora that easy!”
“Oh? Now you’re defending Aoi?” Kai asked suddenly. Reita suddenly fell silent as he heard the question. “You love Aoi, don’t you?”
Reita was infuriated. He pulled Kai’s collar again, making Kai stood again. “Whether I love him or not, it’s my business. One thing you should know, Kai, Aoi is FAR better than what you have in your mind.”
“Be very careful, Reita. You know you can make Tora mad with this.” Kai smiled. “If Tora mad, he will release it to Aoi.”
“I know that. But I still have to teach you a lesson,” Reita said as he held Kai’s neck with his left hand. “After this, I will prevent Tora from hurting Aoi again. And it means… FOREVER.”
That was Reita’s last words before he punched Tora’s cousins again, and again, and again.

Aoi’s last class that day was over. Aoi waited in the library in his campus. He waited there for more than two hours. It was almost already five pass thirty that time. Aoi closed the book he read, and he just leaned on his chair. He looked out of the window. His mind was drifted to where Tora were now.
Aoi was wondering about what he should do to kill the time that moment. Aoi just couldn’t sit in the library any longer. He already fell asleep once before he woke up and continue to reading his book. It only took about half an hour for Aoi to reach the mall. Then, what would he do in the mall until seven o’clock; until he could meet Tora?
There’s a mall where Tora used to took Aoi there. One of the restaurants in the mall was Tora’s favorite. They used to go there for a dinner. One time, Aoi found out that the restaurant was actually Ruki’s favorite’s place. When Tora was still with Ruki, they often went to the restaurant.
Ruki.
When the name crossed in Aoi’s mind, that bad feeling just came out of nowhere. Aoi immediately stood from his chair and took the book on his table. Aoi hurriedly returned the book to the shelf and exited the library. Aoi’s destination that time was only one: the mall’s restaurant where he’ll meet Tora for dinner.

A/N: I’m sorry for taking too long to continue this story. First, it was because I had this graduation thing. After that thing done, then I had this my-brother’s-marriage thing. Hopefully, after this, I can continue this story as soon as I can (mark it: now, I’m dealing with new thing: JOB APPLICATION) Gosh... life will just go on, wouldn’t it?
Ok, as usual, critics and comments are so much love! ~<3
