The subject line says it all, really. ;P
Title: Nursery Rhymes
Pairing: Sho-Ohno friendship gen
Rating: G
Wordcount: 356 words
Summary: Sho is determined to help Ohno with his little problem
AN: This was actually written way back, after the second episode of Uta no Oniisan and one interview in particular about it came out, but I forgot to post it, and anyway, it probably fits quite nicely with this episode too. ^-^
„Do you honestly not know nursery rhymes?!“ Sho demanded.
Ohno blinked back at him. „Huh?“
„Nursery rhymes!“ Sho was wringing his hands, Ohno noticed interestedly. „You said in that interview...“
„Oh.“ Ohno thought. „Yeah, I only know the chorus for most of them, it seems. Why?“
Sho didn't answer his last question. Instead, his eyes took on a slightly feverish gleam. „That's it!“ he declared. „You're coming with me after filming!“
„Whu-?“ Ohno said, but Sho had already stormed out of the room.
“Do we have something planned?” Ohno asked confusedly a few hours later, as he entered Sho's house.
“Yes, we do,” Sho said sternly, and then bellowed up the stairs, “We're home!” No answer came and a vexed look crossed Sho's face. “WE ARE HOME!” he shouted even louder.
“Welcome home,” a young voice answered him unenthusiastically. Heavy footsteps thumped down the stairs and then Sho's little brother appeared, slowly dragging himself downstairs with a dark look on his face.
“Ah, little brother!” Sho beamed. Grasping the shoulders of the teenager, he turned him towards Ohno, who blinked at the brothers.
“I have the perfect remedy for your problem!” Sho declared with a proud and slightly manic grin on his face.
“Which problem?” Ohno asked.
Sho ignored him and continued: “My little brother here,” he shook his brother not too gently, “will teach you every nursery rhyme my mother and I have taught him when he was a little boy, until you know them as well as the next child!”
His companions failed to share his enthusiasm.
“I still have assignments, big brother,” the teenager complained. “When am I supposed to do them, if I have to teach Ohno-kun rhymes?”
“I have filming tomorrow morning,” Ohno added with a pout. “I need to get home.”
Sho grabbed his brother's shoulders tighter and stared at Ohno with a fierce look on his face. “Treat this as a research assignment that I have given you!” His last words held an unmistakable threat.
Sho's brother eyed Ohno with a scowl. “I hate you”, he told him.
Ohno scowled back and stuck out his tongue.
I hope you're all well, guys! &hearts
