I am actually posting an entry a few days after a previous entry. For some reason it has gotten chilly down here and I am not saying that its 50s. I mean that it is close to southeastern Iowa chilly with 40 something days with a wind chill bring the temps down into the 30s. I feel like I am home! Yes, I know that it is probably boring talking about the weather, but there is on my mind right now. Actually it was cold enough last night that I slept with my long pj pants on, which is more that some of you need to know, and a baseball tee shirt.
I can hardly believe that it so close to the holidays. A part of me can't wait for them, because they are fun. But another part doesn't want them to come quite yet for various reasons. First off, I haven't have great holidays in the recent years. Personal stuff always seems to happen during the holiday season and I just don't want that. I am not talking about the happy personal stuff. I am talking about break ups and fights, etc. There should be no repeats of that. Then there is also the fact that Jason will be leaving in mid to late January. I really don't want him to leave because I like hanging out with him. Plus I have gotten close to him. I know that I shouldn't get attached to someone, whom I am only friends with benefits with but it can't be helped. Oh well, life is tough and you have to live with it.
Has anyone seen any movies they would recommend seeing? I ask because I am bored and am trying to decide on a movie to go see or rent. I have been trying my hardest not to buy any new movies. But that hasn't been happening, however they movies that I have been buying are movies that I have been wanting to buy for the longest time. Plus they are some that have recently been rereleased. Oh, the same goes for any books that people have read. However for me, I will have to get them from the library.
My car must hate me, because it is doing something once again. Now, it turns on then starts clicking. I believe that if my car was a horse I would have shot it. I don' have the money to go to a mechanic to fix it, so I am relying on the boys around here to work on it for free. They seem to know enough about cars to at least help me with my problem and diagnose it when I actually do go to the mechanic. I am just praying that it is something that can easily be fixed by them. That is one thing that I am glad about living down here. All the guys here seem to know how to work on cars. Yeah, to the masculine Y chromosome. Sorry, if I am being a little sexist. I just don't know a lot of girls that actually work on cars.
