It's 95% confirm now. the target date's January 2009.
when i move up, there'll be a vacancy. Together with my boss and big boss, we discussed how to fill this position and how to split my work up. We have an idea now on what we want to do - so i'm now on the lookout for another person to join my team.
The only worry my boss have is once I move up, the existing two colleagues of mine (the old Twin, and the new boy) will not be experienced enough to be my side-kick. In fact, that's my similar worry too - as I wouldn't want to be in this position for more than 2 years. I must also start to think of my successor - thus my main aim is to then make myself redundant after that so that I can move out in time.
