It's a small world...
Well, I am home for the weekend. It feels kinda weird. i dunno, like i was just on holiday or something and now im coming home. My room is kind of naked, and Ruby's is even more so.
Yesterday was nice b/c i got to see em and stef again. I felt like i shouldn't have been there when em said bye to her family, it should have been just them. They (Em, stef, Kirsten, and em's dad) picked me up in winona at 2ish, and i showed them my dorm and such. we drove the 20 mins back to lacrosse so they could get things sorted there. I am so glad that they are so close to winona. Granted, i don't know that we're going to see each other that often because they'll be making new friends and stuff, but it's nice to know that they are there.
Weird story....There is a girl in my math group (we do work in groups of 4 and don't have homework; my kind of class-very easy) who is from southern Illinois called Julia and we live in the same residence hall and stuff. Anywho, when they came to pick me up, em was telling me that her room mate has a friend who goes to winona. Her room mate is also from Illinois. so i asked "Is her name Julia?" and it's the same frickin girl. I thought that was so bizarre. When i went in emily's room, i was looking at Nessa's pictures, and i saw one of julia. neat. we can go visit together!!
Today I plan to get a haircut and get a few things for my dorm that i forgot to take the first time i went down. And, i hope to visit claire in her dorm and help her if she needs it when she's moving in.
Now that everyone has moved in to college, when i go back to winona it will feel more permanent because before i was there, and everyone else was still hanging out together here. It felt like i was just away for a while, but it'll be different now.
