(no subject)
So I started St. Patricks Day early...
My cousins founded the Mn girls Roller Derby, and I was an honorary one for the day. note: I can barely rollerskate sober, so after a few drinks it was even harder. adn we were wearing short skirts...
We started wednesday night by going over to their friends house in st. Paul and drank and hung out. stayd up pretty late and woke at 6am with a minor hangover and found myself in a bed with 3 other people unable ot move coz i was so squished and boiling hot. so i stole a blanket and made my way to the floor. we got ready and headed to "the nook" a bar in st. paul. we were going to ride this party bus thing so we had to pay $20 each to do so and then there was 'free' beer on the bus also. we were supposed to line up for the st. paul parade at 11:30ish but it was already 11:45 and we were still stuck at the bar. this guy they knew had a pickup so we all jumped in the back and as soon as that the bus showed up so half went there and the others stayed in the truck. we made it to the parade and it was so much fun. i just slowly skated along while they did there other stuff. i didn't fall at all during the parade. and i saw gus greta jake kelsey and some other ppl in the crowd. then we went to this bar called Liffy's and i used my cousins id and it worked even tho she is a lot shorter than me. and we still had our skates on so it was extra hard to maneuver. saul and my mum met us in there and one of the girls on the team gave saul her wristband so he drank too. i had my first full pint of guinness and it was a little too bitter for me.
the we met up with some girls who had gone to a diferent bar and skated to catch the party bus back to the place we started. adn i wiped out and fell on my ass so someone was nice enough to let me old on to his arm.
we hung out at the nook for a while then got a taxi over to minneapolis for that parade. we hung out at the local for a while and it was completely packed. went in the parade which was a lot smaller than the st. paul one but it was still fun. we went to the brits pub for a while and they made us take our skates off b/c of liability. my dad caom and picked me up at like 7 and i was so tired i fell asleep by 10:30. my cousin mary still has all my clothes that i took so i have like nothing to wear right now and i left my coat at that guys house.
