Delicious Fail

AVOS have come out with the latest version of Delicious today. As a fairly regular user of Delicious, I have some major problems with it. It's in beta, so things may change, but these are the problems as I see them.

First up, where are my tags? There's no full list anywhere. Nor can I seem to rename them, delete them or anything else. The tags only show up for the links on the page, there's no alphabetisation or any other organisation and tags using slashes are broken.  When I click on a tag, only ten or so links come up, despite me knowing I have many more. Tag bundles have gone.

There's no option to see more than ten links a page, and there's no button to go straight to the first or last page. The sheer amount of space gone to waste on the page enhances glare and makes it difficult to read. The links also appear in no order.

Some of my recently deleted links have returned. Stacks are complicated and assume links contain pictures or videos, instead of the texts that are the majority of my bookmarks. There is no simple way to make stacks automatically. It also seems pretty impossible to find other people's links through searching.

The RSS feeds and bookmarklets are gone, but this has been mentioned as something they're working on now.

Most importantly, the log in page, and I assume also the registration page are unsecure.

The worst thing for me is the tagging system being broken. Slashes are incredibly important to my bookmarks, as someone who bookmarks fanfiction. Slashes mean pairing tags, and part of Delicious' draw was the ease of finding popular material. The stack system would work fine in an all-video area (for example Youtube) but it's not very good for text. Removing all the previous organisation also makes it stupidly hard, since people have to go back and retag everything themselves. Most people won't want to.

wtf
