Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket. . .
It's been a rather star filled day. Went to see Stardust with several friends, which was awesome, and just as good as I'd hoped. Then, I went for dinner and Borders with two of the friends I went to see Stardust with, and I bought the C. J. Cherryh book I'd been wanting. By the time I got home all the family was too tired to drive east to watch the Perseid shower properly, so instead
pyrodragonflyer, her boyfrend, and I went to her boyfriend's parents' house (which is up high enough on the hill to miss some of the foggy haze) and sat in their jacuzzi drinking Stargazer ale and watching for meteors. We saw a good few for a bit, but then the clouds crept in. By that time though, we were getting to be prunes and the beer was gone so we didn't really mind going home to bed . . . which I'm going to do now. :)
