Yes! I think your POV and your story are really clear now, yay! The split screen is an interesting choice. I'm not sure I'm so wild about that, but I *love* the short inset clips of Kronos right after the verse change, and also love the flash of Horseman Methos on "sensations that you thought was dead." And the ripple effect at the end works great larger -- really gets it across. That was an inspired idea, I think.

One thing, when you export for .avi, you want to resize to 640x480. 720x480 is the dv resolution, but it's actually stretched out of proportion from the real 4:3 aspect ratio. I know, it's confusing. (It's actually more confusing than that, but I'll give you the short version. *g*)

Yay!

Oh, and now that you're finished, have you seen sockkpuppett's vid to "Enemy"? I didn't want to mention it before, because I didn't want it to influence you too much. But have you seen? It's nummy. *g* Dammit, it's not online, though. I'm not sure why!

Nope, haven't seen it. I just poked my head into her LJ and begged. Is it a Methos & Kronos vid?

It's a Duncan & Kronos vid. Kronos's POV. :D

Wow! I've seen so many fantastic vids today that my brain is whirling. I really wish I knew how to do vidding because you all have given me some great ideas. Are there any classes I can take somewhere? Wow!

Well, this is my first vid. I started about 3 weeks ago with these two links: Permetaform's Vidding for Newbies and the useful but horrifyingly technical A&E's Technical Guide to all Things Audio and Visual.

Then I downloaded a 30-day trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements, and here's the result.

Go forth and let free the vid trapped in your head!

I can't seem to get it to work. I get a message that there aren't any download servers available.

Will try again later.

Can't believe a story of mine helped inspire a vid! Cool!

I've added a new link above, since FileFront's servers seem to be down. Try this one.
