mackiedockie was concerned that Joe would freak out about cheating on Mac with his girlfriend.

Here was Amanda's response:

"Oh, don't be ridiculous, Joe. This is entirely within the rules. It's not cheating if Duncan and I are in different countries. Or in the same country, but in a serious relationship with someone else. Or not in a serious relationship, but across town with a friend. Or not across town, but we're both in the same bed with the same person at the same time. Or if Fitzcairn is in anyway involved. Did you ever meet him?"

Joe sighed.

Amanda smiled innocently. "Would you like me to fetch you a pen and a bar napkin so you can write this down? Or are you done being silly?"

::giggling:: Love the original fic, but I think my favorite parts are "Or if Fitzcairn is in anyway involved," and "Would you like to write this down?"

Thank you!!

"But he wasn't dead, so he noticed." I love it. :) You've really captured their chemistry.

The awesomeness of this has to be measured in astronomic scales.

Thus we see the allure of an older woman. *nods* (Well, she IS.) Very, very good-amazing how much oomph you got into it with so few words. That's always impressive. Not a pairing I've thought about before, but now...oh, yeah.

It was something of a revelation to me, the chemistry they had between them as I sat down to write this. Thanks realpestilence!
