[a soft click as the recording begins, Simon's broadcasting voice is as calm and collected as ever]
Panic is the last thing Discedo needs. It will not prevent any more deaths, only help cause them. Flying off half-cocked in search of revenge is no better. What we have to do now is protect each other.
That means not going out alone and unarmed. I don't care how strong you think you are, do not take the risk. In fact, if you currently live alone, it would be wise to find someone you trust to--
[here the transmission is overcome with static for a few seconds and when the white noise ends, Simon is still speaking as though nothing happened]
--th. It's no big secret who is responsible, but until we stop making ourselves vulnerable we will continue to be picked off one by-
[Simon is interrupted again, but instead of static there are sounds of a struggle as the device clatters to the floor; the doctor's voice is nothing but a muffled shout until one loud, sickening crack comes through communicators]
...ghhk......
[another crunch of bone and Simon is silenced completely...the communicator picks up another body moving around, and what sounds like a blade being drawn and meat being cut into for several minutes before the recording times out]
