Zaogao... What is it you want, anyway? I'm tired. Nothing ever changes here, no amount of fanfare is going to make it all better when there are still people getting hurt and you're not willing to do a damn thing about it.
What's it going to take to end all this?
[A pause as Simon picks up the communicator and starts to move...he must be putting it in his pocket because his final words are muffled but just clear enough to make out.]
It's still too early for the new year anyway.
