Old British science fiction television, still amazing

I've been watching a lot of Dr. Who lately. It's an awesome series, and a number of good actors have played the role since the show started in 1964. They used to air reruns of the show late Saturday night (really Sunday morning, I suppose) in the early / mid - nineties, after it had gone off the air. Sunday morning, my mother would go to church, but I stayed home and watched the Dr. Who reruns with my father. I still remember most of them, in a general kind of way. It sort of stuck with me.

In 2005, the BBC brought the show back with yet another good actor, and it's been running strong ever since. This newly revived series inspired to go back and download all the old episodes I could find. Which actually amounts to the majority of the show, despite it having been aired mostly before the internet existed in anything near its current form. Lucky me.
