I have come across a few strange phrases in the books I've read here. They're a little like the ones my guards use back home, except I haven't had many opportunities to discern their meaning. [She pauses for a moment, before resuming.]

"Never look a gift horse in the mouth." Is it dangerous to approach one, perhaps?

"A rolling stone gathers no moss." I admit, I am a little puzzled as to what this one refers to.

"There's more than one way to skin a cat." Well, I suppose there is? I've never done such a thing. [with good reason. but she still wants to knooow]

Does anyone here know expressions like these? I would love to learn them, if you could spare the time.
