End of marching band..
Well here's a new post because it's been a little over forever since I've written something.
Swimming is over, I'm kinda sad but I'm also happy because it was a big stress and hassle sometimes. I plan on joining a club team or something hopefully in college so it won't be the end. I love my team but this season just wasn't as good as the past one. Maybe because we had like 5 girls?
Marching Band is over. I cried. Yeah, I'm a baby but I loved it so much. I was talking to Tom and Katrina and Tom's like I'm not going to say anything because it will make me cry and I just lost it. Then because I was crying Katrina started crying and then Randi started crying and we were just a mess. The walk off was just as I expected, but it was still so weird to be on the other side of the 50. I didn't cry though when I saw Randi and the others on the other side though. I'm kinda glad I didn't walk by Felicia and Katrina because they were crying and I almost started then.
Saturday we were at Ford Field and I was expecting to lose it again but I didn't =]. I'm so proud of myself. We had to write letters to the underclassmen and I wrote this mega long one to Randi promising her it would make her cry and, it did! Yay that was my goal. It's just so strange knowing that I've put in hundreds of hours into band and now it's over for good. I've been with 4 different groups of people and how much it's changed through the years. Now our class is just another of the groups to be in marching band. Yay now it's time for symphonic band!
Oh! Here's a funny story. So I call in to see what my schedule is for Subway, and the guy who answers the phone is like HELLO! SUBWAY! and I'm like sick.. how rude. And I'm like it's Kelly I was wondering what I was working this weekend, and he's like are you new or something because you're not on the schedule. WTF!? I've been working there over a year you can't just take me off the schedule. So I called my manager and she's like yeah we didn't think it was working out to well with you only working one day a week so we took you off. And I'm like well I only have one more week of band and swim then I can work whenever. She goes we'll see I have to talk to the owner and we'll let you know what we've decided. UGGH I need money!!
Well that's about it besides.. I GOT ACCEPTED TO MICHIGAN STATE AND CENTRAL!
